Process Journal – Infinite Loading 2021

When I start contact photography as a beginner, I imagineI would be a fashion photographer. I was driving to define the most flawless appearance of my object. Also I love movies. A clip from a good movie can show the weirdness of real life that interprets the real and imagination with their own perspective by audience. Each frame brought it close to us. But for the medium of photography, the image is stillness, I want to seal off that flow in a photograph to set up a space in my project.

In the previous one and half years post-graduated studying, I left the family, friends and native living circle. Made each decision by myself with no judging by anyone. But when I socialise with my peers, I find that I sometimes push myself too hard, or force them to match my own rhythm. I ignore that everyone has their own pace and receptivity. And sometimes I over-reliance on the internet, sorbing too much junk information and didn’t realize it slightly swallow my real life until something I cherished already missing one day. Then I start to conceived this project.

Concept and name the project

We, overflowing / Déborder / Excéder(缺口)/Infinite loading/I ~~Lov~~ ‘Suffocate’ You

Infinite loading, ignores any such limitations when developing the schedule.

finite loading, takes into account the actual amount of each resource that will be consumed. Although the second approach would arise more desirable, it appears excessive calculated processing.
