The thinking flow in critical framework always been a constant point which helps artists to make up their own artworks go through from there. To be more specific way that always going to help creator tracing back to the root of kindness from individual inner mentalities and sensibilities. When I started to browse and collect the other artists` information, the flow of criticism pour into the mind covered a bit of inherent mode of artistic thinking, also the new mode between artistic work and reality leap to the eye to achieve a balance. Meanwhile, this artistic posting website helped me to organise these artists work and background which links my photography experiments about how to convey the exact emotion to get a response from audiences using static images, relating the artists I chosen to post in this website. For me, the works all have one thing in common as my experiments which is silence and love. By reviewing these jobs, I saw the best thing in their life, including their losing and pain became intertwined with growth and happiness. These serval documenting ideas or critical sense in real-time that helps me to create different perspectives to measure the same position, and it also brings me outlet to export my own works and life.
“What is photography in your mind?”
I always have been thinking about the function of images. Photography is a quiet different form between painting and design, which records what happens in reality for a brief moment. The question is that how a mere recorder to bring the effects to the reality? Currie, G. (1991) states the expression of the art works is about the developments in understanding of human cognition, which expounds the presentation of final art form is the catharsis of desire. Back on photography, the captured images just represent the tiny part of reality, otherwise, the cognitive effect achieved by the audience is the final goal of photographs. In the meantime, the audience can be public, or artists themselves.
I didn’t believe photography would bring me anything or change in my life before though as a commercial photographer, which doesn’t bring me as much passion and energy as painting. Until one day I met a guy who using his images to transmit a pretty strong introspection that cannot conveyed by verbal language or painting because it belongs to life but just can be captured by camera. The squared images from my experiments bring the sense of security as memories which more stable and no presure to lose. On the contrary, the rectangle black and white images to reflect the reality which directly recorded from life. To be more specific, there is a kind of details we tend to overlooked that can relates development at the core of our relationship between spirit and matter. Also I expect people who as my audience to consider these factors between responsibility and love in silence to treat this blessing world.
